Lately I’ve been feeling down and I’ve seen no way of escaping from the sad. Everything had gotten bad and I was feeling like I knew what I wanted to do. I have worked for months towards where I am now. I found a soloution instead of starting to self-harm again.
I was lying on my bed tuesday night and then something literally hit me in the face. Some string fell off my top shelf because my cat knocked it over. I remembered back to my summer days at camp. I decided to take that string and began to make a bracelet. I made about 7 and the bad thougts escaped me and my hands were kept busy.
Instead of harming yourself in anyway, find something you can do with your hands and that is challenging enough in your brain that you will feel a lot better. Try knitting, making bracelets, drawing, painting, or writing. It will make you feel better. I promise. I hope everything is going well.
